Tech Takes Their Hopes..... And Expectations Up To Beantown

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will enter the final phase of the regular season with a trip to Boston to face the Eagles of Boston College.
These are two teams with radically different seasons– Tech at 8-1, and BC at 1-9.
Tech comes out of a bye week following their only loss, having fallen to NC State 48-36 in Raleigh two weeks ago. The aspect of that game that alarmed Tech fans (and reinforced strength- of- schedule concerns among Tech doubters) was the complete inability of the Yellow Jacket defense to stop the Wolfpack attack at any point during the game.
Bill OBrien' s Eagles, meanwhile, are mired in a nine- game losing streak after beating Fordham to start their season in August.
Tech comes to BC as a 16 point favorite. Whether Tech's defense can elevate tbeir play sufficiently will tell the tale of this game.
Toe meets leather at the BC csmpus in Chestnut Hill at 3:30 Saturday.
